if she doesn't like soldiers, then its I dont' date the vast majority of women have not lived around anyone miiltary and likely have no preconceived notions either way. I can only say that every girl I know swoons and would easily do any one of the soldiers here.Apart from just being a nice thing to add to your history, a lot of women love men in uniform as well as the aura of being disciplined, hard and confident.The military people I deal with daily have been as all people are, a mixture of this and that. People will have prejudices and assumptions (really the same thing) about ANYTHING in a persons past.that's because ANYTHING you do in life, including NOTHING, will cause you to be someone different afterwards. I have met a few who were in the Military and the only issue I noticed was it was all they talked about and all they thought about to a point where I started to think do I really want to hear about this all the time? that's because ANYTHING you do in life, including NOTHING, will cause you to be someone different afterwards.People choose these days to go in the Services and where I am thankful for it, I also do not feel it makes them so much better than anyone else. Hence people come to assume things, many of which are actually correct. Further, there are different KINDS of ex-anythings.they are social climbers and trophy wife wannabes, but that has more to do with age & maturity and the arrogance of Academy boys than anything else.Yes, whether it be the star of the football team, baseball,soccer,etc a person in uniform will come bring them in the" arm candy chickie-poo's!
Referring to yourself as "ex-military" implies, ironically enough, that you psychologically still think of yourself as being of a military bent.
